India's Kotak Mahindra Bank on Saturday reported a 10% rise in quarterly profit as it boosted lending, although provisions for potential bad loans surged.

Kotak Mahindra Bank on January 18 reported a 10 percent on-year rise in its net profit to Rs 4,701.02 crore in the third quarter of financial year 2025. Gross non-performing asset (NPA) ratio was 1.51 percent as on December 31, 2024, as compared to 1.48 percent as on September 30, 2024, and 1.68 percent on December 31, 2023.

Net interest income grew by 10 per cent Y-o-Y to Rs 7,196 crore, while fees and services for Q3FY25 also grew 10 per cent to 2,362 crore

Kotak Mahindra Bank reported a 10.22% rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 4,701 crore for the December quarter, compared to Rs 4,265 crore last year but lower than Rs 5,044 crore in the September quarter.

One of the third largest private banks i.e Kotak Mahindra bank has announced the quarterly results of FY 2025 ending on January 31st 2024. It has also registered a dip in total income with a rise in PAT (Profit After Tax) YoY basis.
