After an injury scare earlier in the week, former Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields returned to Jets practice.

Aaron Glenn and the Jets’ new coaching staff picked Fields to run the offense and tailored it to his strengths. Fields was aware of the panic his injury created among Jets fans on social media. He said his phone blew up right away.

Jets quarterback Justin Fields will practice for a couple of weeks with a plastic shield on the outside of his cleats to protect his dislocated toe.
