Seven students were taken to the hospital on Monday after a hazmat exposure on the campus of Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School in Taunton, Massachusetts, according to Fire Chief Steven Lavigne.

Taunton fire and school officials said first responders were called to Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School for the incident.

Seven students were taken to the hospital after a “strong odor” was detected in a Taunton high school classroom Monday afternoon, officials said.
