President Donald Trump, in his first State of the Union address since his return to the White House, called for Congress to undo the CHIPS and Sciences Act, major legislation championed by Indiana U.S.

During his joint session to Congress, the president called for a repeal to the CHIPS Act. The act was passed by Congress with bipartisan support and was signed into law by President Joe Biden in 2022.
