Glass House Brands, whose farm was raided by immigration authorities Thursday, is the subject of several labor law complaints, according to court records.
A federal jury on Friday convicted ex-Rohnert Park police officer Joseph Huffaker on all six counts for his role in a scheme to steal cannabis and cash from drivers while posing as a federal agent.
Multnomah County prosecutors and Portland police said thieves have burglarized about 24 cannabis businesses this year, with several using this same tactic of ramming cars through businesses’ doors and security gates. In some cases, the cars are stolen and later dumped at the business or elsewhere.
After being so successful last year, the area where people can purchase and smoke marijuana at the California State Fair grew.
