With all the bags packed and pies delivered, the Zadorov family headed home to prepare their own Thanksgiving meal. They won’t be having turkey, Zadorov said. Instead, it will be Beef Wellington. Bruins teammate Marat Khusnutdinov will be in attendance to test out Zadorov’s cooking skills.
Boston is in for a holiday week of mixed weather, with some warmer temperatures and rain preceding a chilly and dry Thanksgiving Day, according to National Weather Service forecasts.

Volunteers and notable names like Mayor Michelle Wu, Senator Ed Markey, and Bruins defenseman Nikita Zadorov helped in the efforts Thursday morning. The organization supports about 2,400 individuals, both homeless and in shelters, each day.
Top city officials, TD Garden representatives, and volunteers served 800 pounds of turkey, 600 pounds of stuffing, and fixings to lines of thankful people.
