Alabama head coach Nate Oats highlighted the Kent State and upcoming game against South Dakota State as the final opportunities to make an impression on the coaching staff ahead of conference play. Alabama shot 26% from 3-point range, 51% from the free throw line, committed 19 turnovers and still managed to beat Kent State 81-54.
