US stock futures traded flat as Wall Street digested mixed messages from the Federal Reserve in the wake of its decision to hold interest rates steady.

NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks fell in morning trading Friday and Wall Street is on track for its fifth straight weekly loss. The S&P 500 fell 0.9%. The index, which is a benchmark for the broader market’s health, is facing its worst weekly losing streak in nearly two years.

It still wasn’t enough to keep the U.S. market from a fourth straight losing week, its longest such streak since August.
