Family members and authorities said a body found recently in the Snake River appears to be that of a Treasure Valley man who went missing in November. Someone reported seeing a body in the river near Delmar Avenue at about 1 p.

Authorities have confirmed that a body recovered from the Snake River was that of a man who had been missing for nearly two months.

The body was recovered Friday after a citizen notified the Payette County Sheriff’s Office around 1 p.m. that there was a body in the river near Delmar Avenue, close to the Idaho-Oregon border, the Payette County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. The sheriff’s office’s swift water rescue team responded and removed the body from the river.
