Senate Republicans are expected to debut their new leadership team in a press conference around 2:00 pm, after selecting a new majority leader on Wednesday. Sens. Rick Scott, John Thune, and John Cornyn have thrown their hats into the ring to replace Mitch McConnell as the Senate Republican Leader.

Chuck Schumer had won their party's leadership elections in secret ballots (although which of the two would be the "majority" leader and which would be the "minority" leader was still up for debate, since runoff elections in Georgia had not yet taken place).
