Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) invited Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate Dave McCormick to freshman Senate orientation after not extending an invitation due to uncounted ballots in the race.

Dave McCormick was declared the winner of the U.S Senate race in Pennsylvania last week by the AP, but Senate Democratic leaders have excluded him from orientation as a recount remains possible.
