Fortunately, new reports suggest that gap could be bridged, with a 200MP sensor entering the spec sheet. In fact, the report – which comes from the Dutch blog, Galaxy Club – suggests that the Z Fold 7 will have the exact same sensor as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Variable aperture is rumored to make an first appearance on a Samsung Galaxy phone later this year, for the first time since 2019.

Reports also suggest that the Z Fold 7 will get a new under-display camera, which will be located under the internal screen. The specifics of the under-display camera are unknown, but it is expected to be better than the 4 MP camera on the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
