Florida wants you to kill as many of the invasive Burmese pythons as you can during the 10-days contest in July. But you can't shoot them.

For the first time in Florida, a bobcat has been recorded killing and eating a massive 13-foot Burmese python in the Everglades.

The Florida Python Challenge is a 10-day competitive hunt created by the FWC to encourage participants to remove pythons from seven commission-managed lands in South Florida.
