CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - A Cedar Rapids newspaper announced plans to drop its print schedule to three-days a week amid rising costs of production and declining readership and advertising in print.

Beginning in February, The Laconia Daily Sun will shift to a three-day print schedule during the winter months, publishing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
