Businesses are less likely to use ChatGPT today than they were six months ago – the first time the chatbot’s usage has fallen since it launched in November 2022, a new analysis has found.

On Thursday, OpenAI unveiled a new flagship A.I. model, GPT-5, and began sharing the technology with the hundreds of millions of people who use ChatGPT, the company’s online chatbot.

The big opening pop is the latest indication that the tech IPO market has reopened following a multiyear lull that began in early 2022.
