NBA announces 2025/26 all-defensive teams
The NBA has officially announced its All-Defensive teams for the 2025/26 season (Twitter links). The teams are determined by a panel of 100 media members, with players receiving two points for a First Team vote and one point for a Second Team vote.
Wembanyama received all 100 first-team votes from a global media panel, making him the only unanimous selection on this year's All-Defensive team. The 21-year-old French star averaged 3.8 blocks per game during the regular season, leading the NBA while anchoring one of the league's most improved defenses.
