After suffering their worst loss of the season on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Los Angeles Chargers will be back in action against the Las Vegas Raiders at home in Week 13. The Chargers will be fresh off their bye week, while the Raiders enter this game having lost their last five.
A winning record still has the Chargers in control of their playoff destiny, at least at face value. As Chargers.com’s Eric Smith pointed out, The Athletic still gives the Chargers a 64 percent chance. ESPN is right behind at 63 percent. The chance stays at an even 60 percent when looking at the numbers from NFL’s Next Gen Stats.
Justin Herbert overcomes an injury scare in the first half and the Chargers capitalize on touchdowns by Kimani Vidal and Ladd McConkey to defeat the Raiders.

Justin Herbert injury update: Chargers QB has broken bone in left hand, will have surgery on Monday
The Los Angeles Chargers got back to their winning ways on Sunday, as they defeated AFC West rival Las Vegas Raiders by a score of 31-14. However, Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh revealed after the game that quarterback Justin Herbert broke a bone in his left hand, his non-throwing hand, and will undergo surgery on Monday.
The Chargers once again travel to a hostile stadium, with the Denver Broncos currently 9-2 and a 6-0 record at home. Similarly to the Chiefs, the Chargers have already beaten the Broncos early in the season, but beating a team twice is extremely difficult.
