They reflected on the State Visit of the President so far, agreeing that it had been an important representation of the deep ties between our two countries.
Macron is being introduced by House of Commons Speaker Linsday Hoyle, who says the shared history between the UK and France "goes back 900 years". Hoyle says they have fought "side by side", and goes on to discuss the UK and France's deep partnership and co-operation.
