Despite going through workouts with the team for the first time on Wednesday wearing the No. 21 jersey of old, it turns out that running back Ezekiel Elliott will wear No.

"I just kind of look at it as a different era," Elliott told CBS Sports on Wednesday night when asked about the jersey change from 21 to 15. "I wore 15 last year.

The NFL still had regulations around which positions could wear which numbers in 2016, but 15 was very much on Elliott's mind when he picked No. 21.
