A lake-effect snow warning and winter weather advisory are now in effect across Northeast Ohio as heavy snow, blowing snow and poor visibility threaten travel throughout the weekend.
There's actually a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for the entire News 5 viewing area. Impacts will be widespread. Plan on snow covered roads Early Tuesday. Most of us dry out early Tuesday with a few lingering lake-enhanced snow showers midday. That's where totals may jump up a couple more inches, exceeding 4 inches.

With more lake effect snow on the way, the National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a Winter Storm Watch for a portion of Northeast Ohio for most of the weekend. The Winter Storm Watch is in effect from 7 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 13) until 1 a.m. Monday (Dec. 15) for the following counties:
