While many competitors' key fobs only offer standard functions like locking, unlocking, and trunk release, BMW takes it a step further by including a unique option: the diamond-shaped button.

There's the button that unlocks the car's doors and the one that pops the trunk. And then, on some BMWs, the key fob has a button with a diamond on it.
