A metro Phoenix lottery player won $2 million in Monday's Powerball drawing. Here's where the ticket was sold and how much it was worth.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Two people who played the Arizona lottery won big and had even bigger winnings because they used the Power Play on Monday. Officials say somebody bought a Powerball ticket at the Clark’s Market Sedona on Verde Valley School Road and won $50,000. Since they played the Power Play, those winnings doubled to $100,000.

A Georgia lottery player missed the Powerball jackpot by a number — but still walked away a winner. The lucky player won $50,000 after matching four numbers and the Powerball in the Jan. 29 drawing, narrowly missing the $71 million jackpot prize,
