Xcel customers will be paying a little more on their monthly bills this year. Frankie McLister explains the company's reasoning behind the increase and spoke to one customer whose frustrated with the energy company.

In December, the state Public Utilities Commission approved a 5.2 percent interim rate increase for Minnesota’s largest electric utility. That amounts to an extra $5.39 a month for a typical household.
