U.S. President Donald Trump said Thursday that Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell’ s termination “cannot come fast enough” as he reiterated his frustration that the Fed hasn’t aggressively cut interest rates.

President Donald Trump said Thursday he is in “no rush” to reach any trade deals because of the revenues his tariffs are generating, but he suggested while meeting with Italian Premier Giorgia Meloni that it would be easy to find an agreement with the European Union and others.

"There will be a trade deal 100%," Trump said ahead of a luncheon at the White House with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. "I fully expect it."

Hong Kong announced Wednesday that its postal service would no longer send packages to the United States, in response to the White House’s plan to charge tariffs on small, low-value parcels from the city.

The move comes before President Trump’s planned imposition of new tariffs on small packages sent to the United States from Hong Kong and China.
