Several countries, including France, the UK, Canada, Portugal, Australia, Andorra, Belgium, Luxembourg, Malta, and Monaco, recognised the Palestinian state at the ongoing UNGA.

President Donald Trump spoke on the heels of France, the United Kingdom and other countries endorsing Palestinian statehood.

Palestinian statehood will be top of the agenda at the U.N. this week, with a number of countries announcing recognition Sunday and Monday.
