Through all of the tumult of a last-to-first season, Bichette was a consistent force from opening day to his violent collision at home plate at Yankee Stadium back on Sept. 6. And he’s certainly appreciated the journey the team that selected him in the second round of the 2016 draft has been.
There’s still something missing here. Even with the Blue Jays clinching their first AL East title since 2015, it doesn’t feel complete without Bo Bichette. Toronto didn’t exactly spring through the finish line.
