Michigan football drops in new AP poll, now ranked No. 20 entering Week 6 matchup
On Sunday, the AP Top 25 was released, and the Wolverines dropped one spot from No. 19 to No. 20, and is thus ranked the same in both polls. Week 2 opponent Oklahoma was also idle, but rose two spots to No. 5. Rival Ohio State remained at No. 1. USC is unranked, but is receiving votes.

Oregon moves to No. 2 behind Buckeyes in AP poll; Rebels, Sooners join top 5; Alabama back in top 10
Oregon moved up to No. 2 in The Associated Press college football poll on Sunday, Mississippi earned its highest ranking since 2015, Alabama jumped back into the top 10 and Virginia was in the Top 25 for the first time in six years in the wake of a volatile weekend in which four top-10 teams lost.
Florida State's next opponent, Miami, fell one spot in the AP Top 25 Poll during a week off. Oregon jumped the Hurricanes after defeating No. 3 Penn State in overtime. Ohio State remains at No. 1.
The Horned Frogs were in danger of falling out of the college football rankings after a narrow defeat to Arizona State on Friday.
Oregon overtook previously No. 3 Penn State after leaving Happy Valley with a 30-24 OT win. The Ducks jumped from sixth to second, with the Nittany Lions slipping to seventh. The SEC title race had a major shakeup as well with Ole Miss and Alabama upsetting LSU and Georgia respectively. The Rebels and Crimson Tide are now ranked fourth and 10th.
