The new 2D animated series will consist of 26 half-hour episodes spread across two seasons, or Books 1 & 2 in “Avatar” style. News of the pickup comes as “Last Airbender” prepares to celebrate its 20th anniversary, with the original show having debuted on Feb. 21, 2005.

That said, one thing that has always bothered me is that even after rewatching both shows, I still think The Legend of Korra is the better show, even though pretty much nobody agrees with me. I said as such many years ago, and I’m still saying it today: The Legend of Korra is better than Avatar: The Last Airbender, and I have a few reasons why.

Avatar: Seven Havens is the third animated series in the franchise, following The Legend of Korra and The Last Airbender.
