TCU quarterback Hauss Hejny’s first season in Fort Worth was one focused on growth. The former four-star recruit and Aledo standout experienced a lot during his freshman season. There were the highs, like getting on the field in four games this season and quickly learning a new offense under Sonny Dykes and Kendal Briles.

Hejny was the headliner for TCU’s 2024 recruiting class, choosing to stay close to home after leading Aledo to back-to-back 5A state championships.

With only one week left for the transfer portal window, TCU has lost some key players but has also found big-time replacements and even retained a player after entering the portal

TCU freshman quarterback Hauss Hejny is planning to enter the transfer portal, the Star-Telegram has learned. Hejny was a four-star recruit and state champion at Aledo and is also a TCU legacy. His father, Jesse, played defensive line for the Horned Frogs in the early 2000s.
