The Philadelphia 76ers have signed center Joel Embiid to a reported three-year, $193 million extension, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania. Embiid, according to ESPN's Tim Bontemps, will decline his $59 million player option for the 2026-27 season and sign this new $193 million extension.

Again, Embiid is arguably the best player in the NBA when healthy. But the problem is his health is always a question. He’s never played more than 68 games in a single season.
