The account of the 3-year-old Sesame Street character turned hateful and certainly not suitable for kids. Here's what the hacked account said.

Elmo’s X account was hacked with offensive posts. Sesame Workshop removed them, launched a security review, and reinforced child brand safety protocols.

“Elmo’s X account was briefly compromised yesterday by an unknown hacker who posted disgusting messages, including antisemitic and racist posts. The account has since been secured,” a spokesperson for Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit company behind the long-running children’s series, said.
