Michigan quarterback Davis Warren suffered a torn ACL in the team’s ReliaQuest Bowl win over Alabama on Tuesday. Warren, who limped off the field in the third quarter of the Wolverines’ 19-13 victory in Tampa, Fla., revealed the injury diagnosis on Saturday in a post on social media.

A dire situation got more dire in the game when starting quarterback Davis Warren was hit near the sidelines and didn’t get up. Alex Orji came into the game and went 2-for-3, with one of the passes being an interception. Warren was seen in street clothes with crutches after the game, and on Saturday, he revealed that he suffered a torn ACL.
