As the trailer teases, Paul Rudd’s Elliot and Jenna Ortega’s Ridley (who play father and daughter) will accidentally kill a unicorn while driving to a summit for Eliot’s work. Following the unicorn being found, the Leopold family, whom Eliot works for, will jump right to using their riches to exploit the unicorn and find more like it.

A24 released a new trailer for its film, Death of A Unicorn, online. Alex Scharfman makes his feature film directorial debut for this film, which he has also written. In the new trailer, Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega play a father-daughter duo going to a wilderness reserve owned by the Leopold family.

Based on the title of A24's Death of a Unicorn, you know a gorgeous unicorn is going to bite the dust. The film's first trailer revealed not just how said unicorn would die (a tragic hit-and-run) but also who was responsible: father-daughter pair Elliot (Paul Rudd) and Ridley ( Jenna Ortega ).

In A24's upcoming comedy-thriller-horror mash-up, Death of a Unicorn, a cast of electic characters led by Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega discover that unicorns are indeed real, and they will indeed try to kill you if you cross them.

While on a weird, Glass Onion -esque rich person getaway, father and daughter—Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega—find themselves on a nature preserve populated by unicorns. And, the unicorns are not happy about what's being done to them.
