Party supply store giant Party City is going out of business and closing all of its stores, according to CNN. The New Jersey-based chain has more than 850 stores across the U.S., including 21 locations in Michigan. It wasn’t immediately clear when Michigan stores will close. Party City officials did not immediately return a request for comment.

According to CNN, CEO Barry Litwin told corporate employees Friday in a meeting that Party City is “winding down” operations immediately and that Friday would be their last day of employment.
