“I think Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is in a position to fight and WIN all of Ukraine back in its original form,” Trump wrote, in part. “With time, patience, and the financial support of Europe and, in particular, NATO, the original Borders from where this War started, is very much an option.”
Europe is said to be preparing for war following the rising tensions between NATO and Russia. A German general recently claimed that if a war with Russia were to begin, we would be seeing a daily death count on the battlefield that wouldn't have been seen in decades.
Alongside the higher military spending that Germany and NATO allies agreed on this year, the alliance is encouraging members to increase personnel numbers. Berlin wants to add tens of thousands of service members.
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said she cannot rule out the possibility that Russia is behind the major disruption to Copenhagen airport caused by drones flying in the area, calling it a "serious attack" on the NATO ally's critical infrastructure.
