Malaysian rapper Namewee has been detained in Kuala Lumpur for questioning over the death of Taiwanese model and influencer Iris Hsieh, who was found dead in a hotel room late last month.
The police have confirmed that local rapper Wee Meng Chee, better known as Namewee, has been detained in connection with the death of Taiwanese social media influencer Hsieh Yun-hsin.
At around 1.10 a.m. today, Namewee, real name Wee Meng Chee arrived at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters accompanied by three men and two women, traveling in three separate cars. Wearing a cap and dressed casually, he appeared relaxed and even took a selfie outside the police station.
