Meta is banning Russia state media organization from its social media company platforms, alleging that the outlets used deceptive tactics to amplify Moscow’s propaganda.

Meta Platforms won the dismissal of a lawsuit claiming it defrauded shareholders by concealing how changes to Apple's privacy settings would make Facebook and Instagram less desirable for advertisers.

The parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp announced a new ban on RT and other outlets, days after the U.S. sanctioned Russian media entities.
