Umedjon R. Mavlonkulov, 27, was found dead at the La Quinta Inn in the 12000 block of Springfield Pike just before 2:30 a.m.

De'Sean McKinley Buckner, 28, is charged with aggravated murder in the death of 27-year-old Umedjon Rustamjon Mavlonkulov.

Police said calls came in at around 2:19 a.m. reporting shots had been fired at the hotel. When they arrived, they found a man dead in the lobby, officers said.
