A Boston Police cadet with a “sharp eye” helped bust an alleged local Grinch known as the “Tom Brady of stealing packages” on Christmas Eve, police said. Southie woman Kerri Flynn, 34, was arrested on Tuesday morning and charged with multiple larceny-related offenses, “thanks to the sharp eye of a Boston Police Cadet,” BPD said in a statement.

A Boston Police Cadet's vigilance led to the arrest of a suspected package thief during a holiday toy delivery in South Boston on Tuesday. At approximately 11:45 a.m. on Dec. 24, officers assigned to District C-6 arrested 34-year-old Kerri Flynn of South Boston for multiple larceny-related offenses.
Kerri Flynn, 34, is expected to be arraigned in the South Boston Division of Boston Municipal Court on charges of larceny from a building, Boston police said in a statement.
