Jessica Tisch is staying on as NYC Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani's choice to lead the NYPD, the pair announced Wednesday.

Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani said he remains confident in his plan to keep NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch, but stopped short of making it official during an interview on ABC’s Up Close on Sunday. Mamdani said he met with Tisch last week and discussed how to deliver public safety without the “distractions” of the past few years.
