Jeremiyah Love could not be kept out of the end zone during Notre Dame’s Orange Bowl battle with Penn State on Thursday night, and gave an incredible effort to score a wild touchdown for the Fighting Irish. Love’s Herculean effort to get into the end zone early in the fourth quarter briefly gave Notre Dame their first lead of the game.

With the game tied at 10-10 early in the fourth quarter, Notre Dame faced a 1st-and-goal situation at the Penn State 2-yard line. They turned to Love on first down, running the back to the left side on a power design, pulling right guard Charles Jagusah in front of him, along with tight end Mitchell Evans.
