Jellybean Johnson, the Time drummer and Prince collaborator, dies at 69

Jellybean Johnson, the drummer for the Prince-shepherded Minneapolis funk group the Time, has died. A representative for the musician confirmed that he died on Friday at age 69 in a press release to Entertainment Weekly. The musician's family also shared a statement with local Fox affiliate KSMP on Saturday.
