To the more than 300 people gathered at the corner of Mountain East Evergreen avenues in Monrovia, the man who died after he ran onto the 210 Freeway in Monrovia and was hit by an SUV now has a name.

A vigil was held Friday evening at the Monrovia Home Depot store that was the scene of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid that city officials say prompted a man to flee onto the Foothill (210) Freeway,

The man was yet to be identified. But advocates were planning a vigil for him at the Home Depot site. DHS officials said they were not targeting the man.
