A Florida deputy has resigned after body camera footage showed he was looking at pornography when he crashed into a car last year, according to a report.

A cop from Florida resigned from his position after he crashed into a stopped car waiting for a school bus because he was distracted watching porn on his phone. According to NBC affiliate WESH, an internal report investigation found that deputy Tristan Macomber had slammed his vehicle into a civilian who had stopped their car for a school bus that had flashing lights.

The deputy originally said his brakes locked up and he was scrolling through a group chat with other deputies before the crash. However, the Lake County Sheriff's Office found he was watching porn. The deputy then admitted to lying and resigned.
