Delhi residents woke up to ‘severe’ air quality on Thursday morning (November 14), a day after the national capital recorded the worst AQI in the country, with dense fog blanketing the NCR, reducing visibility.

The air quality in Delhi reached its worst level today, with the AQI falling into the "severe" category. According to Safar data, the AQI in the national capital dropped to 434 at 6 am.

II came into force in the national capital imposing restrictions on the use of coal and firewood as well as diesel generator sets.
