A stationary camera set-up by The Dallas Morning News on Thursday morning captured the dramatic moments that rain, sleet and, finally, snow moved through downtown Dallas. At times, thick clouds from the winter storm completely obscured views of the city’s skyline.

As a winter storm moves across Texas, parts of the state are experiencing winter precipitation like snow, sleet, and freezing rain.
