Deontae Lawson, a redshirt junior linebacker out of Mobile, announced Saturday he would return to the Crimson Tide in 2025, joining linebacker Justin Jefferson and defensive lineman LT Overton.

Amari Jefferson is a crucial addition for the Vols, who lost five receivers to the portal in December. Jefferson should compete for a starting spot.

Alabama football picked up a huge addition through the transfer portal at the running back position. The Crimson Tide are coming off a tough first year under head coach Kalen DeBoer.
