That seems to be the path Georgia quarterback Carson Beck is traversing after the former star Bulldogs QB committed to Miami on Friday, just one day after entering the transfer portal.  Many draft pundits considered Beck a first-round draft pick heading into the 2024 campaign.

Georgia's offense was going to face pressure in 2025. Now its starting quarterback from the past two years appears to have ratcheted it up.

At Miami, he’ll replace Heisman Trophy finalist Cam Ward, who’s projected by USA TODAY Sports as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft after throwing for 4,313 yards, 39 touchdowns and seven interceptions in his first and only season with the Hurricanes.
