The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) recently shared the monthly subscriber data for the month of July 2024. As per the report, the government-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) gained 2.

In a big boost to state-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the telco has reported a huge 2.93 million increase in subscribers in July 2024, while other telecom operators such as Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vi reported a substantial decline in their subscriber base.

BSNL has added lakhs of new subscribers after the tariff hike from major telecom operators such as Jio, Airtel, and Vi. BSNL's market share now reached 7.59 percent.
