The Vancouver Canucks have given Brock Boeser a challenge ahead of the sniper's contract year, per Elliotte Friedman.

We are now in the midst of Vancouver Canucks training camp, with players meeting with the media to address their offseason, how they’re gelling with the new additions, as well as any goals and expectations they have for the upcoming season.

One trio that the Vancouver Canucks are taking a look at Training Camp is Brock Boeser, J.T. Miller and Danton Heinen. While Miller and Boeser have plenty of experience playing together, Heinen would be the new addition to the line after signing with the Canucks on July 1.

Finding a true top 6 winger to play alongside JT Miller and Brock Boeser has been a challenge for the Vancouver Canucks. They’ve featured a rotating cast of third wheels, ranging from the likes of Phil Di Giuseppe to Pius Suter.
